On 17th May, rules are changing, and this means we can visit more places. Such as cinemas, museums and we can sit inside pubs and restaurants with friends.
In London, there are beautiful places and events to visit and see. We are fortunate to have a vast amount of things to do.
Students like us need to have a balance between work and going out to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We must have time for ourselves.
In West London, we are lucky to be close to central London. We can take the Piccadilly Line, which brings us directly to some of the best locations. Such as, Knightsbridge and Piccadilly Circus.
Camden Town

Camden town is a great place for taking photos or going on a day out with your partner or friends. The town has a vast range of shops, and has many music venues.
Camden Market also offers a fantastic selection of food. Camden Town is not that far from Ealing Broadway, and in fact, it only takes an estimated 45 minutes. If you are into music, fashion or good nightlife, then definitely visit this place!
Gunnersbury Park

As students, it can be difficult to relax after a busy day at university. Still, we need to manage our time effectively by having time to ourselves and embracing the view around us.
Gunnersbury Park is a relaxing place that allows you to gather your thoughts, and it's very relaxing whether you are doing work or reading a book.
The park also has swans, ducks and paddle boats which is great for a day out, going for a walk or exercising.
Gunnersbury Park also has a range of events that are happening during the summer or even next month! Love Box Festival is a music event that got cancelled last year due to the pandemic, but this year they are planning to come to the park on 11th-13th June 2021. The event will have a range of music from hip hop to pop.

O2 Arena Greenwich

The O2 Arena is my favourite. The location is fantastic for students. The O2 holds many music events, and inside is a vast amount of restaurants and let's not forget the enormous cinema!
I can assure you that there is a lot to do around here, one of the main attractions is the Emirates Air line which goes across the Thames. You can expect breathtaking views across Greenwich, which is perfect after a long tiring day.
It is an attraction you must try out, whether alone or with others.

Covent Garden is a perfect shopping place for students. There are many pubs to choose from, and there is a vast amount of stationery, technology, craft and clothing shops. If you are into entertainment Covent Garden is the place to visit!
Covent Garden is a stop away from Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus, which also offers a fantastic shopping area with stores like LEGO, M&M and let us not forget the shows that run daily. Just around the corner from M&M, we can expect to see Chinatown Gate, which has fun activities, shops and many restaurants.
Event: On Friday 25 June at 20:30- 22:30, Comedy Carnival Covent Garden is hosting a stand-up comedy with award-winning international comedians from around the world.
Laugh with friends and enjoy the night!
