Netflix to roll the dice with gaming genre as popularity continues to rise

Movie and tv streaming giants Netflix have recently released a statement saying “were excited to do more with interactive entertainment”, confirming speculation that Netflix is indeed going to be trying its luck with gaming. This news came alongside hints for games based around well-known Netflix classics such as Stranger Things and You Vs Wild.
This news came from a statement from Netflix regarding the diversification of content with the beginning of the statement staring with “Our members value the variety and quality of our content”. The announcement was followed by rumours that Netflix have begun a search for an executive to oversee their attempt of replicating gaming success on their platform.
Rumours of a Netflix attempt at gaming have been rife within the last year with many fans of the giant wondering the direction regarding the stance in gaming. However, like most streaming platforms Netflix has taken to the new genre quite nicely with the hit game series The Witcher making a comfortable transition over the streaming platform.
Overall, with the news ongoing further updates are expected from Netflix regarding the gaming aspect of the new facet of expansion for Netflix.
